Receiving a Digest

If you received SPAM since the last digest were mailed then you will receive an email from spamblocker@spamalert.net. When you open the email it will appear as follows:

This is a list of suspected SPAM and ADULT messages SpamAlert has captured in the past X hours. They are being held in case you wish to retrieve them. Additional instructions for retrieving captured email are at the bottom of this message.

1) To retrieve any messages listed, first click on "Reply" in your email program.

2) To retrieve a specific message, type an X in the "Deliver Message" box for that message.

3) To make sure that no mail is blocked from a particular sender in the future, type an X in the "Trusted Sender" box for that message.

4) When you are done making your selections, click on "Send" to send your requests. Your messages will be delivered shortly.

If you do not want to retrieve any of these messages, simply do nothing and they will be permanently deleted from the server after 7 days.


How To Retrieve Emails From Your Digest  

Click reply to the digest. Type an X in the "Deliver Message" box. This is helpful if you want to see who the user is and if the message is SPAM.

If you do not want this users email to be filtered then type an X in the "Trusted Sender" box. This will add the user to your personal whitelist.

Send the message and your mail will be retrieved.

Manage Your SpamAlert Digest

To manage your digest. Login into webmail with your full email address . Click on spam in the header then click on spam digest.

A web page will open like the following example. Browse your held mail and select any email you wish to receive.

Your current Digest for Your_Email_Address
To retrieve a specific message, type an X in the Deliver Message box for that message.
To make sure that no mail is blocked from a particular sender in the future, type an X in the Trusted Sender box for that message.
When you are done making your selections, click on Send to send your requests. Your messages will be delivered shortly.
 




Request a SpamAlert Digest

To retrieve your digest at any time just send an email to spamblocker@spamalert.net with the subject line of "send digest" (without the quotes). If you have any held spam the digest will be delivered to you within 5 minutes.

Setting Up a Custom Whitelist

To manage your whitelist. Login into webmail with your full email address . Click on spam in the header then click on whitelist.

A web page will open like the following example. Add or remove email addresses or subject lines to you list.

         Whitelists for your_email_address

         You can filter by email address or subject line.

     Email addresses in the list below will not be filtered

                       From:
      Or
                    Subject:
 

Your current whitelist includes the following:
